{"id":9071,"date":"2023-04-13T12:49:35","date_gmt":"2023-04-13T12:49:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lynettelockhart.com\/client\/apple-to-use-100\/"},"modified":"2023-04-13T12:54:16","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T12:54:16","slug":"apple-to-use-only","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/lynettelockhart.com\/client\/apple-to-use-only\/","title":{"rendered":"Apple to use only recycled cobalt in batteries by 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(Reuters) -Apple Inc said on Thursday it would use only recycled cobalt in batteries by 2025 as a part of its efforts to make all its products carbon neutral by the end of the decade.<\/p>\n<p>Magnets in Apple devices will use recycled rare earth elements, and in-house designed printed circuit boards will use recycled tin soldering and gold plating, the company said. <\/p>\n<p>Apple is pushing to become carbon neutral through its entire supply chain and the life cycle of every product by 2030.
